  Spring Tide After Sandy - LBI

I took photos on our first seashore trip after hurricane Sandy whipped through. We went in June, and walked on the beach in Beach Haven on Long Beach Island. The tide was just turning, the surf was rough, and you can see how the water reaches almost to the foot of the dune. There used to be more beach there. I love the beach before all the people start crowding in, so I decided to paint this.
