This lovely flower, with its radiant but delicate colors, was photographed just at the peak of perfection—in full bloom, but not yet past it. The reference photo has been calling me to paint it for months now, but I was focused on other things. I finally decided that it was time, and I must say, it really wanted to be painted, because it cooperated the whole time!
