It's beginning to be Fall, and the flowers, grasses, and reeds are going to seed. This painting was done for the September Plant Parade Challenge, using one of the supplied reference photos. I chose this reference because I liked the way the back lighting makes halos of the gone-to-seed fluff of the bullrushes (aka punks, or cattails).
